There is a way to discovery the gender of the nouns.
You have to use the dictionary.
Let's see together!
I use "WordReference" dictionary, because I can find also Collins dictionary in the same website. You choose the dictionary you prefer.
In Collins dictionary, after the example of the pronunciation, you can read "SF": these two letters mean "sostantivo femminile" (feminine noun).
In WordReference dictionary you can read "NM": these two letters mean "nome maschile" (masculine noun).
The pratice and the use of the dictionary help to understand and remember the different gender of the nouns.
campione, campioni (champion)
opinione, opinioni (opinion)
mare, mari (sea)
luce, luci (light)
We translate:
I'm afraid of talking to the boss. Peter is a friend of his. But the boss often appreciates my opinions and asks my opinion. I must not repeat the mistake to be quiet. Tomorrow I will address this issue.
