Il Diario di Diletta 13 The Italian nouns part three

We continue to talk about the Italian nouns. In the text we look some nouns: problema, clima, mano. "Problema" and "clima" are masculine. "Mano" are feminine.

There are some nouns that finish in -A at singular and in -I at plural: these are masculine. In the picture we look "problema" (problem) and "tema" (topic). We can remember also "clima" (atmosphere).

We have "cinema", that is the same at singular and at plural. It's masculine.
il cinema, i cinema (cinema)

There is a feminine nouns that finishes in -O at singular and in -I at plural. It is "mano".

We have another feminine nouns that finish in -O at singular and at plural: "foto", "auto", "radio".

la foto, le foto (photo)
l'auto, le auto (car)
These are a part of these words:
la fotografia, le fotografie
l'automobile, le automobili

la radio, le radio (radio)

There are some nouns that are the same at singular and at plural.
la città, le città (city)
l'identità (la identità), le identità (identity)
l'analisi (la analisi), le analisi (analysis)
la crisi, le crisi (crisis)
il caffè, i caffè (coffee)

We translate:
There is a problem. The boss definitely talked to Peter. The atmosphere was tense in direction. The boss was nervous. He told me that I create problems and I have to be more respectful with colleagues. I tried to explain the situation, but he didn't allow me to speak. Damn my slowness in making decisions! There's Peter's hand in all this.
